Update on Trans-Atlantic City

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

Okay, folks. I have to be honest with you: Trans-Atlantic City building is going extremely slow. I mean, tortiose like! I’ve been kind of, what’s the word? Distracted? (No need to explain!) It’ll be back to normal, though, after March the second. Stay tuned for more news!

A MUSH’ing adventure..

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

Imagine this: you’re walking through caverns, dark and mysterious. The caverns are lit by a single torch, every 200 feet. You’re walking, walking walking, not knowing where you’re going. Finally you come upon a large opening, and what lies behind it is unknown. So you walk through, and behold: a large underground lake! At the shore, is a ferry with an old man. He beckons you to get on the old boat. So you get on and slowly you start your trek across the lake. After a little while, you see light up ahead. It’s coming from what appears to be a new civilization, which you have previously left unexplored. Finally you reach the other side of the lake and leave the ferry. It leaves the shore and goes back across the lake. Once off the boat, you explore the new civilization, and find many quaint people, shops and homes. After a little while, you grow tired of being there, so you go back to the shore where you departed from that lonesome ferry. You expect the ferry to be there to take you back, but you are dissappointed! You search every inch of that land, trying to find a way out, but you are stuck! So what do you do?

You type ‘@home’. :-)

Many thanks go out to Mad for creating the land of LITERAL no return, which inspired this post.

Well it’s ABOUT TIME!

ZMUD’s registration came in my e-mail finally. It turns out that it used something called an eCheck, which hadn’t cleared untill just now. So that’s why it’s taken so long for me to get the info I needed to have a working version of zMUD. That’s never happen with any of my past purchases.

Don’t Drink and MUSH! LOL!

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

So, I’m not much of a drinker, but my uncle brought some beer down from Wisconsin when he came to visit yesterday. Yeungling.. a brand I’d never tried before. So I thought I’d be adventerous this morning and try it out. Well, the only thing I had to eat this morning was a few cookies and a glass of milk. I drank the beer, and started feeling inebriated. “Oh, no”, I thought, “I hate being drunk!” So I grabbed a couple cups of coffee and decided to wait it out. Luckily, I wasn’t TOO inebriated, but I did feel kinda happy….. for a bit. Good thing I didn’t start MUSH’ing or there might have been some funny construction going on….

Bah! Stupid Registration Process..

Tuesday, February 14th, 2006

Well, I went and registered my favorite (soon to be not-so-favorite) MU* client, ZMud the other night. I payed $29.95 through PayPal (’cause I don’t believe in software piracy), and I got the reciept in my E-mail box from PayPal. Unfortunately, I never recieved the registration codes. Sooooo, I’m trying to get that squared away. It may just be that I goofed and put in the wrong E-Mail address on the form, or it may be that the ZuggSoft site foobared. Either way, I’m hoping I can get that code, or at least a refund…

Trans-Atlantic City Are Go!

Monday, February 13th, 2006

Hey all! The main thoroughfair for Trans-Atlantic City is being constructed as we speak! I have a full design for the new city, at its basic level. I wish I had a scanner to scan the design with but unfortunately I don’t. Oh well, you’ll see it when it’s complete!

Sincerely Yours,

Ken

Announcing a new construction project on CaveMUSH!

Monday, February 13th, 2006

Hi, friends! I’m proud to announce that soon, a new construction project will be under way on CaveMUSH. It’s called Trans-Atlanic City, and it’s going to be the talk of the MUSH! Trans-Atlantic City will be a new division of the MUSH built off of the Great Highway, located in tunnel #847. I know it will start off pretty modest, but it will eventually become a metropolis (I hope…)! Anyone who has any ideas for this new division can +smail Matthais on CaveMUSH. Stay tuned for the best updates on this project, folks!

Sincerely Yours,

Ken
