The reason why this mush isn’t the best: you are not here. Please consider helping us reach our goal or put a puppy in a blender. Doing both is acceptable should you be torn between the two. BTW, occasionally I will talk about cruelty to puppies in the main channels, but I am a vegetarian so I am just jesting; I only hurt people. Sometimes. Maybe not.

Don’t provoke me.

Christmush

Christmas is coming to cavemush, so Santa is too! Some people have made it a habit to hide from this mischevious present-giver–the most famous being Mad, the resident scrooge. Every Christmas, Mad claims Santa is not real, and instead tells his lies about some Father Christmas or some such garbage. Sometimes, he even goes out of his way to outdo the Grinch, and makes it so the ‘who’ is sad from his @doing. He always gets coal for Christmas. Mad is the reason for the season… sucking. If you want to connect just to wish him a merry christmas, be warned: he does not like that. -nrgypoo

The Story of Aaakbaat’s Name

October 30th, 2009 by RedWolf

As RedWolf showed his wife the ways of the MUSH in 2008, Aaakbaat entered the room.

Upon seeing him, RedWolf’s wife whispered to RedWolf.

“My wife wonders the origin of your name, Aaakbaat.”

“Cool,” said Aaakbaat, “I just told that story to nrg last night.”

Nrg says, “Cavemush is full of many interesting people that do nothing but chat when many cool places are added daily by Nrg and Redwolf. The building is usually half serious, but that is what makes it so fun. Because of this and many other things, good haha can always be found here, and if not, we always have a friendly shoulder to cry on.”

I wanna move!

October 29th, 2009 by Hammy

So, you might have logged into a TinyMUSH a few times noticing that you start out in a pre-defined area.  You may have noticed that other people start out in their homes or in another area of the MUSH.  Through ‘exam‘inations of objects and perhaps yourself you notice there is some variable that holds a home location’  By word of mouth you hear that if you type ‘home‘ you can be taken to your home spot.  Great!

You begin to wonder, “Hmmm, how can I set my own home location?”  Basic experience tells you to use the help files so you do “help home” but alas, there is no information from the TinyMUSH help files!

Here’s how you can set your own home: ‘@link me=here‘ or if you know the number of the room/object ‘@link me=#[room or thing number]‘ eg ‘@link me=#1234′

You can also link your objects to a set location:@link [object]=[room or thing number]‘ eg ‘@link toy=#1553
Hope this has been informative!  RedWolf at CaveMUSH has updated the default help file information with this info.

Morning!

October 27th, 2009 by Mad

This is just an extrehemely quick blog entry announcing something that is utterly awesome in it’s sheer blandness. I’m one of the new blog writers on CaveMUSH! Yay! *tosses confetti on himself*

Okay, that crap over, srsly. I’m Mad, otherwise known as Mad, or Mad to my friends, and I’m a grumpy cantankerous bastard. Have you ever seen that telly programme Grumpy Old Men on BBC2? No? Oh yeah, that’s foreign programming.  Anyway, I’m exactly like them - grumpy, old and shit - except I’m 25. So I’m grumpy and young. Work as a postal guy for Her Majesty’s Postal Service (Royal Mail) and I shall be popping up to chinwag about some pointless whines, complaints, some bitching and whatever else I feel like doing. Can’t pretend it’ll be interesting, entertaining, fantastic of whatever, but it’ll be content!

And what the internet needs is another whiny content provider. Probably not, but bollocks it has me anyway.

Soon, Mad will be joining us to take over Ken’s position of CaveMUSH blogger-in-residence. Hammy might as well.

Lec got on CaveMUSH today for the first time since August 28th, 2006! Exciting times.

Update on Trans-Atlantic City

February 26th, 2006 by fubar

Okay, folks. I have to be honest with you: Trans-Atlantic City building is going extremely slow. I mean, tortiose like! I’ve been kind of, what’s the word? Distracted? (No need to explain!) It’ll be back to normal, though, after March the second. Stay tuned for more news!
